Ivomec Classic Injection for Cattle and Sheep 10 mg/ml ivermectin.
IVOMEC Classic Injection is indicated for the effective treatment and control of the following harmful species of gastro-intestinal roundworms, lungworms, eye worms, warbles, lice and mange mites of cattle and sheep
Dosage and Administration:
Ivomec Classic Injection for Cattle and Sheep should be administered only by subcutaneous injection, following aseptic techniques. The injection should be given under the loose skin either in front of or behind the shoulder in cattle, and in the neck region for sheep.
The recommended dosage is 200 mcg of ivermectin per kg of body weight. To ensure accurate dosing, body weight should be determined as precisely as possible, and the dosing equipment should be regularly calibrated for accuracy.
Cattle: Administer 1 ml per 50 kg of body weight
Sheep: Administer 0.1 ml per 5 kg of body weight
Withdrawal Periods:
Cattle (meat & offal): 49 days
Cattle (milk): Not for use in cattle producing milk for human consumption. Do not use in non-lactating dairy cows, including pregnant heifers, within 60 days of calving.
Sheep (meat & offal): 37 days
Sheep (milk): Not for use in sheep producing milk for human consumption
